Literacy Autobiography Remix
The Picture above is not the actual shirt way back in 1999. I went on a website that makes custom made t shirts and this is the closest thing I could find. It looks exactly like the one I was wearing when the put the lying 7 year old Steven Inman in the schools newspaper. I remember feeling bad about this afterward but questioning why nobody else seemed to figure this out. When I thought about it back then I thought everyone cheated at this end of this year contest, why shouldn’t I just cheat better and that’s exactly what I did. Everybody got white t shirts made by the school except me because I one and I got this bright green t shirt that said “I just read 365 books”. The shirt was an eyesore with its bright green and neon orange lettering but I remember how happy I was o have won the contest everyone had thought I was the smartest kid in the school. While I did read a lot of books that year, most of them looked like the books this little guy on the bottom would have read.
